PALM’s Partying It Up in the U.S. on Belgium’s Feestdag July 21, 2010
There are many, many things to love about Belgium, but the top three might be its world-renowned beer, chocolate and the fact that it has a national holiday called Party Day (Feestdag) on July 21. PALM is bringing that party to U.S. bars and restaurants in the shape of a celebration of the country’s cuisine, beer and culture.
Feestdag, Belgian National Day, commemorates the date the first Belgian king, Leopold I, took his oath before parliament in the King’s Square in Brussels in 1831.
PALM was first introduced in the U.S. in November 2007 and its Feestdag celebrations are rapidly spreading throughout the East Coast and Southern California. Feestdag newbies, veterans and everyone in between are encouraged to join the party.
